How can I add a sublayer into a Parcel Fabric?

I've started working with the ArcGIS Parcel Fabric, and this composite layer has some sublayers. How can I add a custom sublayer(polygons), with an especific definition query and symbology? save the layer into the Parcel Fabric and when I open it again, the custom layer is loaded inside the parcel fabric.

Is this possible?

I was emailing with a friend from ESRI and I got an answer that add a custom sub-layer into the Parcel Fabric is not possible, unfortunately.

You can create as many parcel fabric layers as you need.

Steps:

  1. In ArcMap select a layer --> Right click and 'Save as Layer File'
  2. Press the add data and add the layer file (*.LYR)
  3. Change the layer properties: name, definition query, symbology, editing templates, labeling...

While the layer will not show up as part of the composite group layer, you can treat it as any other layer.
