I've not done any programming in our arcgis yet, other than point collecting, but I've written a little workorder db using vba in ms access and want to include an inset map on the workorder.
Can somebody give me a few pointers on how to get a simple inset map out my arceditor/arccatalog licensed db.
i.e. from the msaccess workorder db what commands can i use to open the arccatalog/arcmap db and have it display and print an inset map on the back of a workorder?
Is this possible with the arceditor license?
Is it much of a learning curve to jump to some of these other programming languages for arcgis (or access)?
