Hello all,

I have an annotation feature class and I would like to change the color of selected features.  I can not set a symbol substitution because I don???t want to change the entire feature class to change.

Any ideas, examples?

Thanks in advance for all help,
James

Hi James,

When you have your annotation features selected you can open the Attributes box and then select the Annotation Class on the left hand side, this will insure that any changes to annotation will be done on all the selected features.  You can then change the annotation color and apply the settings.

Hope this helps.

I am sorry for not clarifying.  I want to do this with a custom program.  We have a form that we use to create and edit annotation.  We calculate item values, create definition queries, and change size / rotation.  I also want to be able to change the color from this form.

Again thanks for the help,
James
