I was wondering if anyone knows a good way to auto-populate a text box in the layout view with the lat/long coordinate for the center of the current extent (in Arc 9.3). For example, on my maps I have a text box in the layout view that has an emergency coordinate (in Degree, Decimal Minute format). The emergency coordinate is based on the center of the current extent and has to be typed in the text box manually.
I would like to automate this process so that wherever you pan the extent to, the text box will update with the lat/long coordinate of the center of the extent.
