I'm trying to use Visual Studio 2012 and the ArcGIS SDK to make a custom tool. I installed the ArcGIS SDK but the templates don't show up when I go to make a new project in Visual Studio 2012. I reinstalled Visual Studio and that didn't help. Do I have to install something else? I'm running Windows 7 and the 60 day trial of ArcGIS.
I update VS2012 to Update 4. and re-installed the SDK. Under C# /Windows ( Framewotk 4.5 ) I have the ArcGIS Runtime 10.2.4 .NET Template. But this one is WPF template and I working with C# Windows Forms in the same way you ESRI shows in video: DS2010: Developing .NET Applications for ArcGIS Engine | ArcGIS Resource Center
where they are using MapControlApplication Template and in the Engine MapControl set the map document to show.
