ArcGIS Engine 10 Dynamic Display Compact Cache Format

Hi,

ArcGIS 10 introduced a new compact cache format. I was wondering if it was possible to use it for the Dynamic Display cache. Up to now, I have found that the MapCooker object can generate cache with that new format (from the MapCruncher sample). However, IDynamicCacheLayerManager still seems to use the old format. Is there a way to connect to the cache created by the MapCooker object using IDynamicCacheLayerManager? Or is it possible to tell IDynamicCacheLayerManager to create caches using the compact format?

Did you ever get an answer on this?  My understanding is that you can pre-cook the cache and use it in dynamic display but I have not found a way to do it yet.
