Does anyone know where the .net support for arcgis 10 is?  At 9.3.1 it was located on the ArcGIS install disk.

Which component are you specifically looking for?  The .NET SDK?

All the software is there as I have installed it many times.

I built a toolbar in .net and the ArcGIS .net support has to be installed on the client machine before the toolbar will install.  At 9.3.1 you could go to add remove programs and click change on ArcGIS and then put in the install disk in and go to modify and check it from there to install the .net support.  That seems to be different now.  The client is not going to install the .net sdk.  They just need the .net support.  I was thinking at one time the .net support would install by default if a certain version for the .net framework existed on the client machine but if not then it would not install.

Your computer must meet these minimum system requirements to install ArcGIS Desktop.

.NET Support
ArcGIS Desktop requires Microsoft .NET Framework Version 3.5 SP1. If .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is not detected on your machine, the ArcGIS Desktop setup will not proceed.

The .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 setup is provided in the DotNet35 folder on the media for your convenience.

The problem I'm having with .NET is that 3.5 is part of the Windows 7 operating system (I found that info here)

Any recommendations or suggestions?  .NET is turned on in Windows features and I am still not seeing it when I go to modify GIS.

I think that you are good to go.

See attached screen shots.

I'm not having luck with any combination of boxes checked for .NET framework in the turn windows features on to get the .NET support to pop up in the modify ArcGIS menu.  Any other suggestions?

I think that you are good to go.

If you look at the screen shots that I posted, .NET does not show up on version 10.

Shouldn't there be a .NET file in my ArcGIS folder?  Any other evidence that it's working?
