Hello all,
I have a question regarding a GIS analysis (ArcMap 10.8) in my master thesis and I am not quite clear how I can/should proceed,
It is about a mapping, where I have declared different biotope types. These I now want to intersect with the exposures (8 in number). Aim of the whole: To prove that a certain biotope type is particularly frequent in a certain exposure (north). For this I have to go over the area. The pure number of biotope polygons is not objective, because the areas were always very variable in their size. Both features are available as vector data (polygons).
I know it might have something to do with intersect, but am getting nowhere.
How would you guys proceed?

Thanks a lot 🙂

Combine (Spatial Analyst)—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation

will produce the unique combinations and cell counts (eg area).
