I am trying to set an anchor point for a point feature layer in ArcMap. I have tried using the instructions here, which works fine for an arrow/character marker symbol, and for a picture marker symbol when no rotation is added. However, I want to rotate my symbols and when rotation is added, the picture marker symbols do not retain their anchor point. I need to use picture marker symbols as I have been provided with specific symbols to use. I'm working in ArcMap 10.7.1, but also have access to Pro 2.5.
Is it possible to set an anchor point for a picture marker symbol in ArcMap, and does it retain it's anchor point when it's rotated?
