I was notified that the Streets basemap in our Worker map was not displaying building footprints as it had previously. I changed the basemap for the Worker map and saved the changes, however, the basemap did not change in the Workforce app (iOS). Is there an issue with basemaps in Workforce? Thanks.

Hi Matt,

No, there shouldn't be an issue. Are you using Workforce Classic or the new release?

The new release.

thanks @Anonymous User If you a preplanned Map Area, you'll need to regenerate it.  If not, you'll need to reload the map in the mobile app so that the ad hoc Map Area on the device is updated.

Lemme know if that addresses things.

I regenerated the offline area, reloaded the map and have the same issue. I'm using the World Street Map Vector Tile Layer. There is only one tile in my map area that still shows building footprints.

The building footprints show in the Dispatch map in Chrome but do not show in the Workforce (new) app in iOS.

Ok, thanks Matt. Could you save a copy of the Worker map and try with Field Maps? That will tell me if it’s a larger issue or specific to Workforce. Thanks,

The building footprints show up in Field Maps.

Ok, thanks Matt. It has to be an issue with Workforce and could be because we’re on a different Runtime version.

Can you invite the “craig_sp” user to the project as a Worker so we can take a look? We’re working on a new release now for Q2 and just recently moved to a new release of Runtime so we should be able to test this out.
