Forced to End Task: Workflow Manager WMX Job Pro Project

Hi,

After finishing edits or QC's in a WMX job, we often are forced to crash the Pro project to get it to close even if we have chosen to pause a step or are on a step that allows us to close the project. 

We have found that this can cause version locks which prohibit others from viewing the data. A workaround we used was to restart the computer that last had the project open but that doesn't seem to work consistently and really isn't a viable workflow moving forward.

Any ideas as to why/what is going on?

We have also encountered having to force Pro to close.  When the Packages folder contents are deleted, the next job from the same workflow opens to the Default version which is not what we configured. When the Packages folder contents are not deleted, the next job from the same workflow opens the correct version, but sometimes requires Task Manager to close the Pro project.

We have shared the post above with the esri Workflow Manager team we are working with through our ELA and they do not have an update for us, at least yet.
