I was working on creating a map using Web Editor in the instant apps. I was adding a Search Source from the map itself so users can search on assets from layers. Once I add one layer, the map goes blank. Is anyone else having this issue or know the work around/settings that need to be adjusted?

good news @BrianHartz_Lumos
"Maybe you can answer another question, is it possible for Pop-ups to appear when you select an item, or do you need to go through the selection pane?"
It is not possible for pop-ups to appear when you select a feature, pop-ups are only available through the selection pane.
hi @BrianHartz_Lumos yes, unfortunately we've discovered the issue is more pervasive and this workflow isn't possible. We're working with the Instant Apps team on this but it's looking like we'll only be able to address this for the Fall release of Online.
I apologize for this, we just ran out of time to fix it for this release.

Hi @BrianHartz_Lumos thanks for trying out the new Web Editor template. This is a known issue but one you should be able to workaround by configuring the layer search on the web map item details page.
You can see the list of Known Issues on our Early Adopter site: https://earlyadopter.esri.com/webeditor
Thanks for the info. I was able to update that to a degree.

So, I was able to "This is a known issue but one you should be able to workaround by configuring the layer search on the web map item details page." In the web map, I can see this change take place, however in the instant app, it is not using those layers that I added. It is only using address points.
