When a user makes a single selection to open the attribute form on a non-editable layer in the Web Editor app, the fields are not interactive (ie. the data is view only). This is the expected behaviour.
However, when multiple features are selected on a non-editable layer, the form becomes interactive and appears to be editable, and a 'Save' button appears on the bottom of the form. If the user tries to save the edits, an error occurs so the data is still safe - but this just confuses users who may try to make edits.
ESRI, please fix this so that the non-editing setting is honoured in the attribute form when multiple features are selected.
Hi @mwartman_grey I suggest raising this with your local Esri distributor - they may be able to help log an enhancement request for you
@mwartman_grey this is a known bug that is currently assigned to be fixed in the next release.
