webapp column with empty values

I've created a webapp and one of my columns has no values in the attribute table when viewed in the webapp.  I've configured my popups and the column header and value are both showing there.  this column is also populated in AGOL/my web map as well as in Pro.

why is this column empty in my web app?

I solved this by editing my coded value domain so that the label and code match each other as well as the legend labels
