I would like to limit the layers that are shown in WAB.  This is the group I would like to display.  Has anyone done something like this?

Terry,

In that case then you can simply add the Basemap Gallery Widget and when configuring the widget click the remove button in the upper right corner of the basemaps you do not want and once you save the app the ones you left will be the only ones available in the widget.

Terry,

Are you saying that you only want the app user to see these basemaps in the basemap gallery widget?

That is correct, there are 12 basemaps in the standard gallery and I would like to only show basemaps for MDT Apps..

Terry,

You can control the basemaps that users see when using your org by adjusting your organizations settings

go to your AGOL org page

My Organization > Edit Settings > Map > Basemap Gallery and set this to that group you created.

I was hoping to make the base maps app specific as other developers may want to use some of the other base maps from the ESRI Default basemap gallery.
