Some time ago i made a Web app based on a Webmap, but when i open the Web app now the legend is not vissible anymore, all the legend items look the same (grey cirkel) but when i look at the web map the legend is ok and all the legend items are different.
Is there a solution to get the legend right in the web app?
So in reviewing this item, I came across a similar Esri Support Services case. It had to do with an option not being set when sharing the web layer out to either ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise. When you share the layer out from say ArcGIS Pro, there is a setting on the Share as a Web layer GP tool ->Configuration tab and Configure Parameters tab called "Use symbol types compatible with all clients" When the web layer overwrites the old web layer with this parameter checked, the issue disappeared in Web AppBuilder and other apps.
Thanks! That solved the problem!

Hello Robert. May I ask which version of Pro you used on that screenshot? I don't see the "Use symbol types compatible with all clients" option on mine.
Thanks
Hi @JuliusP - since my post with the screen grab was from July 18, 2023, I was running ArcGIS Pro 3.0.5 likely.
Thanks for the reply Robert. I am using ArcGIS Pro 3.3.2 and it is missing under "Share as a Web Layer", but just found it's visible under "Share as a Web Map" . I'll have to do some testing if this new workflow will solve our issue. Thank you!
