Is there an imagery slider widget?

I added this over on the Ideas section just in case but is there a widget out there that functions like the historical imagery slider in Google Earth? For one web app I will be developing, I'd like to offer the easy ability for users to compare an area over time using various orthos captured over time.

  That widget is on my to do list but I just have not found the time yet. So far I have not seen any other developer that has done this widget yet either.
