Hello,

I added a WMS on ArcGIS Online in the webmap I am using for a WebApp.

The WMS is the following : http://wms.vd.ch/public/services/wmsVD/Mapserver/Wmsserver

When I try to use the web map in the WebApp via WebApp builder, it returns an error saying that it couldn't upload the wms.

Do you have any idea from where this error comes from ?

Thanks a lot

It added fine for me when using the Add Data widget in WAB 2.7 once I choose URL tab and choose "An WMS OGC Web Service" in the dropdown.

Hello,

Thank you for the feedback. When I add it via the widget, I get the following error :

GetCapabilities request for https://wms.vd.ch/public/services/wmsVD/Mapserver/Wmsserver failed. (Unable to load //XXXX.maps.arcgis.com/sharing/proxy?https://wms.vd.ch/public/services/wmsVD/Mapserver/Wmsserver?SERVICE=WMS&REQUEST=GetCapabilities status: 504)

Do you have any idea from where this error comes from ?

I also tried to add the WMS to the webmap which works perfectly. But when I add the webmap to the webapp, I get the following error in the console (firefox) : “Blocked mixed content”.

I guess it is because the WebApp is built with HTTPS while the WMS is an HTTP request.

I contacted the service provider to ask them to make an HTTPS request available. But in the meantime, do you have any workaround ?

I have the exact same problem, except I am using an https request. I get status: 0.

Just updated ArcGIS server to 10.7.1 and hopes that could fix the problem. It did not:-(

Any solitions Robert?
