I have a few apps that were created using the online version of WAB. Now we would like to bring some of those into developer version and add additional widget functionality. What is the proper procedure to make this happen as smooth as possible?

The procedure is in WAB choose import "Import from my account"

Keep in mind if some of the AGOL widgets might be widgets that don't exist in the developers edition yet, so it may not work until the next release.
