Geoprocessing Service causing error 000958

I have created a geoprocessing service with the purpose of identifying the nearest line segment of a polyline feature to a user input point and clipping the nearest line to create a new feature using model builder . The geoprocessing tool works perfectly when I run it in ArcGIS Pro.

After publishing it as a geoprocessing service and trying to run it in Web AppBuilder, I am getting an Error message: 000958 FeatureSet and RecordSetschemas are read-only. However, I have been able to run other geoprocessing services on the same web map, which makes me think that the FeatureSet and RecordSetschemas are not actually read-only. Has anyone had this problem before/know what may be causing my geoprocessing service to fail?

I haven't run across this before, but it sounds like there's probably something different about this particular service in the way it works under the hood.

Have you looked at the service properties for each, to see if there's an obvious difference between them?
