I've recently come across the Enhanced Layer List that displays a dialog popup for you map services in the layer list,this works perfectly well if one reference your map service URL straight in portal web map. The problem i'm facing is when the web map uses Map Image Layers, the layer list stops working. Most of my services are published from ArcGIS Pro as Web Layers which are automatically added as Map Image Layers in ArcGIS Portal. I cant foresee, we changing this publishing workflow anytime soon.
Basically what I'm asking is if there's a way i can display the underlying map service description from the Map Image Layer in my Layer List when used with Web AppBuilder.
