AGOL WebAppBuilder: Pop-up display on phones

We have built several embedded web maps using hosted WebAppBuilders from AGOL. The pop ups, however, when viewed from a mobile version of a phone display differently as compared to when viewed on a desktop. Only the title is displayed and the user has to make additional clicks; one to view the attributes and it takes you away from the map, and another to bring you back to the map. This issue only occurs in the mobile mode of the browser device (if viewed in desktop mode, it works fine).

Although this change could be implemented by using WebAppBuilder Developer Edition and hosting our own web applications, it would be great if the functionality is enabled out of the box with AGOL
