I just downloaded the 1.0 final release and when I go to create an application and try to select a basemap I get the following error:
"Unhandled Error Map has not been initialized yet"
I'm also not getting the base street map on the default screen either. This was working just fine with the beta2 version.

Hi George,

Did you do a complete uninstall of the Silverlight Viewer beta 2 release, before installing final?

Some other things to check for:
- Did you remove both the Builder and Apps folders in the inetpub/wwwroot directory (in case they did not get removed by the beta 2 uninstall)?
- Ensure that both the Builder and Apps folders are no longer registered with IIS?

Hope this helps,

Derek,
Yes, the Beta 2 was uninstalled before installing the final.
I have gone in and deleted the Apps and Builder folders, and verified they are not showing up under IIS as a virtural drive or as an application.
I installed the viewer on my desktop and noticed that when when I click on create an application it shows the Topograhic Map icon as the default base map, when I do the same on my server I'm getting the Street Map icon. On the desktop I the applications fine, unlike on the server. The desktop never had the beta installed before.

Come to find out that once I cleared my browser history and then reinstalled the program all the problems were solved.

George
