Hi everyone,

I would like to know if does anyone solve the problem with the builder when we add a Dynamic layer. The attribute table on viewer does not appears until we add a specific layer (not the entire service).

Does anyone know why this happens and how to deal with it?

Would be nice to have only the entire service on my TOC with all layers hierarchically appearing but in a way I could select layers on it.

If it is impossible would be nice to have an alternative of how to display the layers in a well organized way (not all layers of my service together without any hierarchy [grouping or other else]).

Regards
Ezequias

Hello Ezequias,

When you add a dynamic map service, the application only brings over the image tiles, and not information about the actual features. This is done on purpose for good rendering performance of the map service. The downside, as you have noted, is that there is no information that can be displayed in the attribute table. Please note that all of the Esri Viewers load map services in this same manner.

You may wish to see our topic on Layer types which describes each type of layer that can be added to the Viewer and whether you can view the features in the attribute table, show pop-ups, select features, and so on.

I hope that helps,
Katy
