I just installed Viewer with no errors, so far so good. I added some layers from my server rest. Then when I hit deploy, I give it a name, I get a window that says "Site Deployment Failed" unable to deploy application
I think I figured it out. First I loaded Fiddler, it is a troubleshooting program (free) http://www.fiddler2.com/fiddler2/ it said the folder under inetpub/wwwroot/Apps was not accessible. So I gave the Web User read and write permissions. Then everything worked. So it appears all internet users need permissions to the Apps folder. Im not sure if this plan allows hackers in, but Im only creating internal apps for now. If you have a web person talk to them about security.
