I would like to know if there is a way to create my own command, that behaves like the basemap button. I want to create a button that works like a drop-down menu, displaying what ever I want. To me, this is now the basemap button works. I realize you can add a group to the toolbar, but this displays other tools. The basemap tool has that little white arrow underneath it, and it isn't not part of the image; I can tell this by looking at the image in explorer.
