Hello,

I am sure i'm not the first to ask this, But

Is there a way to work offline with the flexviewer?

What I want to do is to define a file or a service that will be stored locally on my computer and my flexviewer will be able to read and display it.

Thank You,

Roi.

Hi Roi,  Unless someone has created their own solution / widget, the out of the box ArcGIS Viewer for Flex does not come with an offline editing feature.  Check out the Collector for this.  It's a pretty awesome data collection tool, but I work for Esri so may be bias.

Hi Doug.

I am working with the collector and he is pretty awesome.

I am interesting in a PC offline solution for the flex viewer.

Thanks for the answer.

Roi,

i have only seen a couple of examples of people using flex in an offline mode. This was using the API and not the viewer and was quite technical with what they were doing. An example can be found here:
