I ran into an issue in saving user preferences, where I could get the layer to be visible, but could not get the corresponding checkbox in the Table of Contents to check (see thread http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/2196-save-session-state). It was mentioned in that thread this is a bug. Can someone from ESRI address this issue and an estimated date when it will be fixed? Thank you for your help! Ashley
