All,

I was wondering if there is any way to display Pictometry oblique view in the flex viewer.

As for any legal concerns, we are being told by Pictometry that we will own our data indefinitely and can display it to the public.  We just can't provide any of the measuring, annotation, etc... tools that come as part of their software.

So, is there any way to display anything as simple as just the oblique imagery by itself with the ability to rotate to different views in the flex viewer?

How about any way to overlay ArcGIS layers on top of the oblique view in the flex viewer?

Thanks for any information.

Hi Chris,
I am a product line manager for Pictometry and we have recently released a product called Pictometry Flex for ArcGIS Server.  This is in beta currently and is available to certain government customers based upon their current Pictometry technology.  The product does allow you to display the oblique imagery and has full navigational support along with the ability to project any of the GIS layers on the oblique images.
To find out whether you qualify please contact your local Sales Rep.  They can also assist you in getting access to the beta program if you do qualify.
Regards

David

Have you had any success with the project? Ideally I would like to do something similar by creating JPEG extracts for every residence in my area that could be hyperlink based on the parcel number...wouldn't allow for measurements, but would provide the imagery to the public and mobile users who otherwise couldn't carry around the whole workspace.

Unfortunately, I can't find a means of automating the extraction through model builder.
