Mixing map services with different projections

Can you use multiple map services in the FlexViewer that have different projections?
I want to be able to use my local data with State Plane projection and have the "http://server.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/World_Street_Map/MapServer" services draw behind it to show surrounding counties.

   Yes you can have layers in a different projection as long as they are not specified as tiled. You will take a performance hit doing this tough as ArcGIS Server will have to re-project the map services that are not in the same projection as the map.
