How to add copyright text in exported image using snapshot widget

Hi All,

I am using snapshot widget (from code gallery) for exporting current map into JPEG and PNG format.

I want to add copyright text in exported images.

Please guide me in the right direction.

Any help much appreciated.

Pankaj,

   The latest version 2.5.1 of the copyright widget now has the copyright in the export automatically.

Thanks for your immediate reply.

Copyright widget is really nice.

But as i mentioned earlier, i am using snapshot widget for exporting map. When i export complete map, then copyright information is appearing in exported map.

But when i select map area using rectangle tool (selecting certain portion of map), its not appearing.

My requirement is, i want copyright information in each exported map, irrespective whether its a complete map or some portion of map.

Please assist me.

Pankaj,

   For that you would have to extend Erwans' Snapshot widget to add the copyright text yourself. You would need to look into drawing a TextField to the BitmapData. Sorry I won't be writing this code for you, if you need this ability you will have to do it.
