eSearch Widget Datagrid error

I added the eSearch widget and everything works great until I try to "show results in grid" and the screen goes dark but shows an inoperable grid.

I then click to close the grid and it closes... slowly... and behind it is this little box that says [object Object]

When I try to close this little box, it takes forever and locks down for minutes.

I have no idea where to even start fixing this. Anyone have ideas?

jumparoojack,

What version are you using of the eSearch? Latest is 2.4.0.2.

jumparoojack & Robert,

Ok I'm getting this behavior too.  I've installed version 2.4.0.2 twice to make sure.  For me it seems to have to do with linked fields.  If I take out my linked fields from displaying in the datagrid all is well.  However I'm still getting an occasional actionscript error when using userlist.  This may or may not be related to the other issue.  Here is the error:

ArgumentError: Error #2025: The supplied DisplayObject must be a child of the caller.

Keep up the good work Robert.  Your widgets are wonderful and your support on here is appreciated.

Ok just to add to what I was trying to say...the behavior described by jumparoojack in the first post is very similar to what is happening to me.  I will attach my screen shot.  Basically I can get the widget to work ok if I do not set hyperlinkgridfield to true in the xml.  Now the datagrid does still actually work, but in order to access the map and widgets you have to keep clicking "OK" on a popup that simply displays the text [object Object].  The more results found in the query, the more "windows" you have to close by clicking "OK".  I've been using the esearch widget for a long time now.  This is the first time I've had an issue implementing.  It's also a bit concerning that nobody else seems to have this problem other than jumparoojack and I.  I'm just not sure what the issue could be at this point.  Any ideas?

Guys,

The issue is a left over in the code from some debugging that I was doing and just plain forgot to remove it before I published 2.4.0.2. I will fix this ASAP in version 2.4.0.3.
