esearch -stop info popup from popping up

Hi I have seached for an aswer to this one but no success.
My client would like the icon to click on for opening an URL but does not want the popup with attributes and URL to appear.

I have bot the the icon and popup with URL link working but can't stop the popup for appearing even if I comment out the info popup line in the config file?

It this possible and if so could you post the solutuion,

Ian,

   You would have to comment out anywhere in the code that uses showInfoWindow function.
