eLayerList Widget and printing text

Good morning all,
I have found an issue using the eLayerList widget and printing annotation/text.  I am using 3.6 FlexViewer and the 3.6 eLayerList widget along with AGS 10.2.1.  I am using the OTB Print Widget with the TASKURL tag point to a custom Export WebMap Task that I created.  Annotation is not showing up on the prints.  I have switched the TASKURL to the OTB Export WebMap task that is installed with AGS with the same results.
I have found that the text does show up if I use the OTB LayerList widget.  I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this behavior.  I have adjusted our applications to use the OTB LayerList widget along with the eMapSwitcher widget.  This workaround is fine, I was just curious if others have seen this.
Thanks

Eric,

You are going to have to explain in more detail. I just tested my live preview site by adding the print widget and a parcel layer with lots of annotation and the annotation on the map showed up in the map export just fine.

Eric:

Can you add the mapservices in your web application to ArcGIS Desktop and use the Export Map functionality under the File drop-down menu to see if the exported map works the same way as in your web application?

I mention this because I was having issues with my web apps using a custom Export WebMap Task that is part of a print geoprocessing tool and ESRI was able to duplicate the behavior in ArcGIS Desktop which helped to diagnose the issue which turned out to be an ESRI bug.

Hi Robert,
What kinds of details would you like?  The test that you did....does your annotation reside in "groups" in the published MXD?  I believe all the annotation that does not show up on the print is grouped in the mxd - there is an "Addresses" group that contains 3 annotation classes (displayed at different scales) and another group (in another published MXD) that is titled: Street Names that contains 4 annotation classes(displayed at different scales).
Were you using an ExportWebMap task in the print widget or just the OTB print widget?
Thanks
Eric

Eric,

My test used the ExportWebMap task and the annotation part of a group and many layers of annotation are then sub grouped under the master annotation group layer. I have my test stuff on my live preview site for now. http://gis.calhouncounty.org/FlexViewer3.6/index.html?config=config-eLayerList.xml

Robert,
The exported map contained text.  I have also switched to the AGS supplied ExportWebMap task (in case something was wrong with the one I created) and see the same result.
I plan on doing a fresh install of AGS 10.2.2 in the next week or so (related to a couple other AGS issues I'm having) - maybe this will clear things up???  We'll see.

Eric,

OK, I am going to take my live preview site back to the way it was then. Hope 10.2.2 fixes things for you.

Can you provide some explanation on some of the issues you are having with AGS 10.2.1 (I assume that is your current version and you will be upgrading soon)?

Michael,
This particular AGS box has been upgraded from 10.0.  I guess, if you consider that the 10.1 install was a "fresh" install and not an upgrade, then this box has been upgraded from 10.1.  The issues we have been having, that ESRI cannot reproduce relate to service caching.  We had issues successfully caching some topography - the caching process did not create all the necessary tiles.  The most recent issue we ran into was creating a cache of some orthophotography (stored in a raster catalog).  The cache created all the necessary tiles, but it also created white lines between the image tiles at 2 different scales.
