Edit Hosted Maps Feature Services with Builder 3

So, something where SLB does work and FB3 does not work, surprise surprise (... with a caveat).  So, If I add a Feature Service from Hosted Maps, they show as expected, but they do not show to be editable layers when clicking on edit widget.  I am using an Org service only (Private), so perhaps that is the issue (caveat mentioned above, SLB does not show private, only public, so at least its a step in right direction).  I will test the Public services I have, to see if they work.

When trying to change the text in the text box for Operational layers, I can only select all text, I cannot select a subset, then delete just the subselect to replace.  I need to be able to select out segments, if I require to change paths.  Currently, I need to replace the full path.  Is this expected?



Correction.  If I drag right to left, I can only select all text in the text box.  Process Select just a segment, it shows just my subselection, when I release the click, all text is selected.

If I drag left to right, I can sub select text in the text box.  Process Select just a segment, it shows just my subselection, when I release the click, porton of text is selected.

Needs to be consistent either direction.

Does not work with Hosted Maps Public Feature Services either.

Trying to add a Hosted Tile Service, get above error for everyone of my layers in the Design Preview Tab.  The layers are drawn as part of the MS, but the endpoint does not necessarily show the MS layers, just the tiles, so this is most likely the issue.


This is weird, I get 8 popups for each fail, as I click close on each fail, the service behind gets lighter and lighter.  So, I get my first one and the map is back, click close, light black, so, and so, until I close last fail, and map is shown with the Basemap.  Interesting effect.

When I try and add my tile service from Hosted as a Basemap, nothing is drawn.  I see the same MS with a listing of the Selected layers in the Selected Basemap, but on the Preview Tab, I get the same error for my layers.

No Extent is drawn under Maps Tab, and then nothing is drawn on Preview Tab.  Perhaps expected, since after all this is a tile service and hence a basemap.
