Display units for the coordinate widget - Flex viewer 3.6

I like to change the display units for the coordinates in our Flex Viewer app but no matter what units option we select, it always show the data with the same format, which is decimal degress.  Our data is in NAD 83 for Puerto Rico.  I tried changing the units using the dialog and also directly thru the widget configuration file.  Any help or ideas on how to successfuly change this will be appreciated.

OK, it looks like there is not much hope here.  Apparently since the basemap cache was created in the mentioned projection (NAD83), the application do not support changing the coordinates to other formats. So due to this limitation we can't use that functionality and will need to either create another big cache or find or develop a widget that does what is desired.

Bummer...
