Mark,

Access to data stored in related tables/featureclasses (I've brought  this one up before - having a ArcMap like Identify capability is hugely  important to our organization)
Access to relate data has been around for some time with this widget:

http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=4ec33120c9ea4d019fddf722fc34ea3c

and now in 2.5 the Enhanced Search support relates:

Hi Bjorn,

I am also getting a .zip instead or .air. After changing the file extension to air and trying to run the install, i get an error "The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author." Did changing the extension name work for anyone?

Regards

Do I need to remove my existing version 2.4 flex viewer before installing and getting started with the Application Builder and version 2.5? If not, will old site still run fine without disrupting the new viewer? Sorry - newbie here.

Working with clustering at version 2.5 is the flare cluster type supported, and is using the popupconfig also supported on cluster flares?

Thanks,

Yes (as Adam already figured out).

Adam/Andrea, I am thinking it might be your browser that changes the extension, could you tell us which OS and browser (and browser version) you are using?

/***** UPDATE *****/
Bjorn, I've just renamed file extension from .zip to to.air and now it works!!!
just for you info, I'm using Internet Explorer 9 on Windows 7.

Thank's to everybody.

Regarding the compiled 2.5v of Flex, does anyone else have a problem displaying the toolbar (widgets, pan, zoom, etc) when changing the .xml?  Basically I'm trying to add all the old functions from my last flex viewer to this one, but the tools don't seem to work and even something as simple as adding a new op.layer causes everything to crash and no tools to display. Very annoying...

Thanks,
Ray

some of my users can't see .... is firefox browser supported at v2.5?

Yes.

Does http://help.arcgis.com/en/webapps/flexviewer/live/index.html work as you would expect?
Does your application work for some users (but not others)?

Thanks Robert. I've tried your widget and it works great. My only 'complaint' (and I think we've had this conversation before) is that it only works for feature layers so I either have to convert all my map layers to feature layers (which has its own repercussions) or I have some layers that are identifiable by just clicking on them and others that require the Identify widget.

Mark,

You need to look again as the link I provided was for the Enhanced Search Widget, which does not require a feature layer.

Sorry, I was referring to the access related data widget. I'm having problems with the sample application - there are flash errors when the viewer loads and nothing ever seems to populate the tabbed area at the bottom.
