Does Velocity support international phone numbers for text message function?

We are testing the text message function, and looks it only supports 10 digits phone number. If the phone number is an international format which is not 10 digits that the SMS provider supports but the Velocity will report error and doesn't allow to start the analysis.

Please see following two screen that the only difference is phone number length.

Yes, that document says 10 digits number is required, so we just want to confirm if Velocity support other format of international phone numbers like 12 digits. 

Because SMS provider can support like 12 digits phone numbers, so basically Velocity just need to forward the message to SMS provider, why Velocity has that 10 digits limitation?

Thanks for your question about whether Velocity supports non-US phone numbers in the text message output. The current release only supports numbers containing ten digits, but we have just completed updates that should be included in our June release and will enable numbers with fewer than or more than 10-digits.
