Customize visibility by line length or some other weighting factor?

I'm customizing the Light Gray Canvas basemap. For the "Water Line/Stream or River" layer, it appears that the amount of data shown is based on zoom level; that is, the closer in you zoom, the more detail is shown, such as smaller/shorter rivers and streams. Is is possible for me to customize this? For the zoom level I desire, there is way too much detail for the streams/rivers. I would like to only show the more major water features -- am I able to filter by, for example, line length?

We currently do not include the attributes that would allow for such filtering of the data as part of the Esri Vector Basemaps.  The basemaps are primarily designed for visualization, not analysis.  Other content available in the Living Atlas (e.g. search on Hydro) may offer the kind of data you are looking for.
