Good morning,

I would like to ask when you are planning to release the UtilityDataManagementSupport toolbox version compatible with ArcGIS Pro 3.6.

Currently, some tools from the 3.5 version do not seem to work properly in 3.6. For example, the Asset Package Rename Report tool — which is extremely useful during the mapping phase to list all asset types present in a network along with their corresponding translations — is not functioning correctly.

Could you please provide any information about the expected release timeline for the updated toolbox?

Thank you in advance.

We will provide a version for 3.7, as that is part of the Long Term Release.  We strongly suggest organizations use versions of ArcGIS Pro and Enterprise that are part of the Long Term Utility Network release.  There are/will be fixes applied to 3.5 patches that will not be made available for 3.6 in regards to the Utility Network.

If you are not familiar with this plan, here is an article that might help

Since 3.6 is not part of the Long-Term Support (LTS) Network Management release for ArcGIS Utility Network, we are not planning on releasing a version of the UDMS for 3.6.

Thank you for your response, Mike.

So, moving forward, will it no longer be possible to use the functionalities of the UtilityDataManagementSupport toolbox? This would be quite a significant issue for us, as these tools are extremely useful and, in some cases, essential to our operational workflows.

I assume that integrating these tools into the Utility Network toolbox already embedded in ArcGIS Pro is not currently planned either?

I look forward to your clarification so that we can assess possible alternative solutions, if necessary.

Thank you again,

@MatteoMagnani_WT These tools are supported going forward, but only on releases that are part of the network management release program. ArcGIS Pro 3.6 is not a long-term support release, but ArcGIS Pro 3.7 will be. It is assumed that customers who choose to go-live on off-releases plan to upgrade to releases that are part of the network management release plan to access the latest bug fixes and performance improvements that are released via patches.

Thank you for the clarification and for the detailed information.

It is very good news to hear that the toolbox will be supported and updated for ArcGIS Pro 3.7 as part of the Long Term Release.

We appreciate your support and the transparency regarding the release roadmap.

Kind regards,
