To configure the feature template in published UN services

I have configured the Feature, group and preset templates in my project file, but when i published the UN feature service to the portal i was not able to see the templates, now i needed to do edits using the templates even if i keep the templates in the project file and open my UN webmap in another Map in the Arcgis pro i cant be able to make the edits using templates, so is there any solution for this scenario?

I am still new to the Utility Network and have recently finished creating some editing web maps that needed to have feature templates.  I think the templates need to be set up on the editing web map themselves and not on the published Utility Network feature service.  I tried setting up the templates before the initial publishing of the editing web map from ArcGIS Pro and I don't think that worked.  So I brought the published web map into Pro and set up the templates the way I wanted and saved the web map through Pro and that worked for me.

@Brian_Laws while you can explicitly define editing templates in a specific map, the recommendation is to use shared editing templates because this allows an administrator to manage a single set of editing templates in the geodatabase then each web map can reference them.

Think about the implications of realizing you need to override the default value on a particular attribute in certain editing templates. If you do everything exclusively in web map, that means you need to open and review each web map to try and find (then update) that template. If you store them in the geodatabase, then you edit it in one place and all the web maps benefit.
