Export Track to Shapefile doesn't export time

Hi all,
From what I can tell, if you use the "export--Shapefile" option in arcgis online to create a permanant record of the track log created in Tracker it strips out time. I've done a few tests, as I couldn't beleive it was happening but as far as I can see, all my date/time fields have been reduced to just date. If I export as a CSV it works as expected.
Can someone else confirm this is happening and also whether this is meant to happen? It makes the data pretty useless without time.
