Year Only function for a date field not working on iOS

Hello,

We recently launched the ESRI lead service line solution in our community and I'm noticing a bug with a date field on the Self Reporting Survey for users on iOS.  

We have a question, asking if the resident knows when their house was built.  If they answer yes, they are prompted to input the year only

This works fine on desktops and also on Android devices.  The user is presented with a convenient menu to choose a 4 digit year.

On iOS (I tried both Safari and Chrome on my iPad) it does not bring up the four digit year selector, and instead the user is presented with the normal calendar option which asks for a month and day.  This is causing some confusion to users as most of them would not know the exact date.  We added some language asking them to just make it January 1 followed by the correct year but this is not ideal.

Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this or if there are any solutions or workarounds.  Thanks for any suggestions!
