A user is reporting "Location Inaccessible" on a windows 11 machine.

Typically, I'd have the user go to "Location privacy settings" and check off "Allow apps to access your location". That has already been done and the issue persists.

I don't have Windows 11 yet, so I am unsure if there is something extra in Windows 11 that needs to be done.

Our IT people have turned Location Services off for all desktops and laptops. Tablets and smartphones are ok though, for some reason.

I had the same issue when our IT moved me to Win 11 - even though Google Maps worked okay.  Seems our IT took away several admin privileges when they upgraded from Win 10 to 11.  I had to VPN in, sign is as admin (which I am not supposed to do unless absolutely necessary) then go into settings/privacy/location, and make sure the S123 field app and Connect were specifically enabled to access location.  Not sure about users who have not been given an admin pswd at my univ.

Hope that maybe that will help others.

EDIT: i should clarify - I had to "log in as new user" then log in as admin and go into settings.  When I tried to just enter admin pswd in the window that popped up when I tried to enable location - that did _not_ work.   I had to be completely logged in as admin - I have no idea what the difference is.  Just FYI
