I'm trying to update a Survey123 survey which has already been published and has data recorded against it, but get a warning message suggesting I'll lose all existing data (see image below). The only changes I'm making is to add some additional 'Image' fields - the original survey had one image field, and I want to add in 4 more image fields. The documentation suggests this should be a problem...can anyone help decipher the warning message?

I'm making the edits in Survey123 Connect v 3.0.138 on a Windows machine.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Graham,

I would check the form_id setting - does that match the Feature Layer's name?  Aside from that, is there a repeat section within the form?

Is the form_id not an item that would be set when you first publish the service?

Hi James

Thanks for the reply. The form_id was actually blank in my survey - I've updated this with the layer name and the update is now successful!

Thanks again

Graham
