I am getting the following error when I try to connect the Survey123 app to our Portal from a tablet or smartphone:
Insufficient Client Privileges
Need minimum privileges of Features Edit in your Role.
I can connect just fine from the Survey123 and Survey123 Connect app on Windows, so I don't think it's really a privileges issue.
We are authenticating against our AD through the IIS web adaptor.
Any ideas what could be wrong?

We currently have known issues with connecting to Active Directory secured portals- this looks like one of the symptoms of that.
Very late to the party but I just bumped into this issue myself with one of our users. I was able to get it working again by assigning the user a user type that does not have base access to Survey123 (Basic was the user type I used), manually assigning them the add on license, having them verify that it was now working, and then switching them back to their previous user type (Creator) which has access to it by default. This solved it on our end, hopefully it works for you.
Would you know if this issue was ever resolved? We are using Portal 10.9.1, IWA, Web Tier Authentication and we are experiencing the same type of issue.
