Survey123 Map in Report

I am setting up a template for the Survey submissions but having hard time defining the scale of the location. 

The location map by default zooms to the full extent and I want to change that to a defined scale. The reference guide says I need a MapID to define the scale in the template but I don't have a Web Map.

Does anyone know what I need to do?

• If you published your survey from Survey 123 Connect  a web map is generated in the folder of the Survey
• If you published your survey from the web designer a web map is not generated automatically

By the sounds of your query you have published your survey using the web designer. Simply create a new map, add the hosted feature service for the survey to the map then save. Take the id of the map (from the url) and then replace it in the below syntax

• ${location  | mapSettings:"10df2279f9684e4a9f6a7f08febac2a9":100000}

Note the name of your gepoint question may not be location

Thank you for your reply. I actually got it working by leaving the mapSettings empty.
