Is there any way we could get access to the source code utilized by Survey123 to build custom reports? We are trying to create a web application to accomplish the same objective.

Thanks.

Hi Javier,

We are not planning to publish the source code for the API.  The core of the report templating engine is docxtemplater, which has a release available under an open source license.

James,

This blog post states that "...the source code of Survey123 is available as part of AppStudio for ArcGIS under the Apache 2.0 license."

This brings up a few questions.

Is there a web version and an app version of Survey123? App version, as in one that installs on the iOS, Android or Windows platform.

If the answer is yes, is it the web version which the source code can be acquired through AppStudio?

Thank you for any help,

Paul Lohr

Hi Paul,

That blog post specifically refers to the Survey123 field application (the one that installs on iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux).  The web app is entirely different and is not available, though as partially indicated in this thread, it does make use of many open source components as well.
