Selecting By Typing

We have several long lists of items that are difficult to pick from a drop down choice list, too long.

Would like to be able to start entering the number of the item, and the list selects the more info you type in.

What is this Function called in the Survey123?

If you are using a select_one type question, then you should set the appearance to a value of "autocomplete". This will allow a user to start typing an answer and it will funnel through the results to match what is being typed.

However, if you are using a choice filter within the same question, then there is a bug that is in the process of being fixed.

Thanks for the info about the bug.  I was just getting ready to post a question about why the autocomplete and choice filter no longer work.
