Reset select_one question

Hello,

Isn't it possible or intended to reset a select_one question?

Once an answer is selected for the select_one question I only can change it into another answer but not reset/delete the answer.

This is different from the select_one in autocomplete appearance (and other question types).

From my point of view, the option to reset the answer of a select_one question is missing, especially if it is not a "required" question. What do you think?

Thank you very much, best regards,

Jürgen

Hi Jürgen,

You can unselect a choice in a dropdown by clicking on it a second time.

Simple, but it works. Thank you.

I can I do this for a radio button.  If the user accidentally picks an option they are stuck as they can no longer go back to no choice.  I thought this was an old one that got fixed?

Thanks

Hi Doug,

Can you check which version you are using?  This sounds like an issue we identified earlier in 3.6 development.  You should be able to unselect a choice in any select_one appearance.
